About Art Escobado- I reside in Lakewood, CO and have been photographing America's scenery for the past year. I find photography to be the perfect synthesis to depict and share the drama of the natural world and am continually delighted, awed, and inspired by its ability to reinvigorate the human condition.
In order to help maintain these areas 2% of print purchases are donated back to the National Parks.
Equipment- Nikon D200, Gitzo 1228 tripod, 18-70mm lens, Really Right Stuff ball head BH-55, B+W polarizing filters, and Sing-Ray Neutral Density filters. LowePro Sling Shot Aw200 and Gepe card holders. Subaru Forester and REI gear. About half of the images displayed here were shot with a Canon 20D and 10-22 mm lens and 100mm macro. These are no longer part of my equipment. I hope to settle down on a system soon and my wishlist includes- a Canon5d, Gitzo 1325 tripod, a 70-200mm 2.8 lens,100mm 2.8 lens, and a 50mm 1.2 lens from Canon, and remote shutter.
