Fri. May 4th, 2007- The site has been upgraded with a gray background, square thumbnails, and a favicon! What’s a favicon? Look in your address bar for the little gray icon with my initials- that’s a favicon.  It’s a 16x16 pixel graphic, a coat of arms so to speak for your website. If you bookmark sites with favicons the icon will appear by the bookmarked link giving the user a visual cue to help them sort through the links faster.

I’ve updated the plans to circumnavigate Maroon Bells and will instead camp around the Bells base in June since snow pack would be too deep for a circumnavigation this early in summer. With this decided, that still leaves most of May open and I’ve decided to visit Utah and camp out in Zion and sneak a peek into Zebra Canyon. I’ve never done a slot canyon and I look forward this summer to visiting more slot canyons of the Southwest. Have a great weekend!

Sat. April 29th, 2007-Welcome to the new updated website. I hope you enjoy the site and it's continuous development. This is the second attempt at getting a website design down and as my experience progresses I expect the website's impact to develop as well.

On the photographic front I have a trip planned for the Colorado Rockies, in early June. This journey will be unique as I'll be trekking with some great friends from Half Pint Farms and it will entail circumnavigating one of my favorite mountains of all time- Maroon Bells. This will be unique in the fact that though Maroon Bells is a well documented mountain most of its scenery is photographed at the very accessible Maroon Lake. The June trek will cover scenery and areas not normally depicted. I eagerly anticipate this multi-day back packing adventure covering one of America's greatest "Super Mountains" of all time... Maroon Bells!
